DC! Atlanta! Chicago! National Harbor! The Internet! We’re coming at ya, and we can’t wait to rabble-rouse with you. Are you conferencing this summer too? Let us know so we can say hello!
Here’s where you can find M+R people this summer:
PMDMC Benchmarks Webinar

Thought Benchmarks season was over? No way! Get the low-down on how the public media sector fared in this year’s Benchmarks in this virtual webinar co-hosted with PMDMC. Director of Data Analytics Theresa Bugeaud and Senior Creative Director Will Valverde will walk through the data and share what it all means for our public media friends. Register here.
DMAW Creative Day
June 15, DC
Will you be in DC for DMAW Creative Day? The theme this year is Creative Revolution: from AI… to Z! Be sure to find partners Yoonhyung Lee and Sarah DiJulio and we’ll bet they’ll be happy to share their strong opinions about this particular revolution (and just about anything else)!
Public Media Development and Marketing Conference (PMDMC)
July 11-14, Atlanta
Partner Sarah DiJulio and Vice President Rachael Wolber are headed to Hot-lanta where Rachael will be presenting “Testing! Testing! Membership conversion testing in the digital space” with Jill Shepherd from Propublica. We’ll be sharing super fun, super fast-paced 15 tests in 15 minutes to showcase some winning (and losing!) digital strategies you can try for your next campaign. Let us know if you’re up for saying heeeeeey in Atlanta!
Netroots Nation
July 13-15, Chicago
We are sending a whole gaggle of M+R staff to Chicago to mix, mingle, and help launch M+R Win. Executive Vice President Christian LoBue is presenting a session on Thursday at 10:30-11:30am called “Taking Back Our Power, Our Freedoms: Organizing in a Post-Roe World” with our friends Sharmin Hossain (18MillionRising), Sarika Kumar (Planned Parenthood), Yamilin Rivera (Taller Salud), and Alicia Stallworth (NARAL Pro Choice America). There will no doubt be some M+R festivities happening in Chicago, so put yourself on the list, and we’ll keep you posted.
Bridge
August 2-4, National Harbor, MD
Last year we brought Yacht Rock to National Harbor—can we top that this year? Add your name to our hang-out list and find out! Also on the docket, a couple brilliant back-to-back M+R sessions: Partner Matt Derby is presenting “Hey Google – what should I be doing with my paid search?” with our buddy Joe Coakley from DonorsChoose on Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm. Then Senior Creative Director Gwen McGarry is sharing “Surprising Revelations From a Year of Audience Research” with Planned Parenthood’s Stephanie Lauf.
DMFA Virtual Session

Partner Matt Derby is teaming up with Megan Quellhorst from NRDC to present “Love the Ones You’re With: Ads for Retention.” This virtual webinar will walk through several retention and cultivation paid media test results to show what’s essential, what bombs, and what you should keep in mind to maximize your reach with paid media to your existing supporters.
